In different religious traditions, Gog and Magog are savage half-beast half-human tribes that are enclosed somewhere on earth, and will break out in the end times to wreak havoc on humanity.
It has been said in Islamic eschatology they will appear somewhere in central Asia. This event is also connected with the appearance of a messianic figure who will defeat them.
It is often difficult to match the description of ancient prophecies with present day events, because what is happening in the physical world only disguises what is happening in higher and lower worlds.
I have personally had to rework my end-times predictions based on this fact alone.
Religious lore has preserved an ancient picture of reality that cannot be observed today, yet eschatology still rings true despite having an inner content that is as of yet inaccessible.
When, however, we consider that humanity is passing into the clairvoyant age, the content of religious scriptures will be confirmed anew.
This will serve as the jumping off point for understanding the appearance of Gog and Magog, which has been described in eschatology.
Modern science and elementals
Lets first consider the developments that have been progressing since the 19th century.
Humanity has seen the emergence of nuclear power, computer science, information technology, pharmaceutical medicine, petrochemical manufacturing, synthetic materials and fibers, etc. In essence, a science that departs entirely from natural philosophy.
All these fields share a plutonian quality in common, that handle processes invisible to the naked eye — because they have been produced by the imperceptible, atomistic forces of the underworld. This realm cannot be seen, just as the heavens cannot be seen.
In other words, the activity of supernatural kingdoms and subnatural kingdoms resolves into a unity — the narrow picture of reality we see here on the physical plane.
The perception that science is amoral, having no moral dimension, comes from its apparent separation from religion. This has obfuscated the occult link between these invisible processes and the moral vices fostered by modern life.
The whole of technical science will sail into desolate waters. But human egoism will find these desolate waters of tremendous use and benefit. [1]This economic life, which we are obliged to lead because we eat and drink, clothe ourselves and so on, forces us as human beings to descend into the subhuman. [2]
Now in the 21st century, humanity is seeing the rise of AI, data centers, and technocratic control. It appears as though humanity has reached a tipping point. What is really going on?
Before the start of modern age in the 15th century, people were still endowed with the last vestige of ancient clairvoyance; they could still see the elementary worlds adjoining the physical world.
At the time, the etheric body was not joined as closely to the physical body as it is today. As a result what is invisible to us today, was visible back then.
We know that since the beginning of the 15th century we lived in the 5th-post-Alantean period and this was preceded by the 4th which started in 747 B.C. and ended in 1413 A.D. In this period people were so configured that their ether body was much more receptive than it is in the time since the 15th-century.This ether body could perceive much more of that which was around it. When the ether body perceives, then it sees the elementary world, that which is of an elemental nature, elemental beings in plants, animals and minerals.When people in those centuries were still able to speak of cobbies and gnomes which they could perceive in certain mountains and which approached them from certain mines, today's people, when they hear about it call this situation just poetical.However, to the people in these centuries, this is not poetical; they still knew something about the presence of an elementary world behind the physical world. The Luciferic elementals are associated with fire and air, and the Ahrimanic elementals are associated with earth and water.
Upon investigation, it is my belief that the Jinn described in Islam and Arabian folklore refers to the earth and water elementals.
وَٱلشَّيَـٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍۢ وَغَوَّاصٍۢ ٣٧
And [also] the devils [of jinn] - every builder and diver — Qur’an 38:37
In folklore, these beings have been known to be clever and mischievous, and deceptive with regard to how they interact with humans. If not deceptive, they may simply be childish. Therefore, humanity must be very aware with regard to its relationship with these beings.
Medieval depiction of elementals
Pagan humanity would commonly come under the control of elementals, and thus measures were taken to rid humans of this instinct.
In early medieval Europe, the Order of King Arthur was established to help guide pagans in finding Christ in the elemental forces of Nature.
At the same time in pagan Arabia, suited to the population there, Islam appeared serving a similar purpose with the injunction to not take partners with God.
Many people are still pagan today because they are under the control of elemental beings! They are simply unaware because elemental clairvoyance has been lost. The unity of the Godhead is ultimately affirmed through Christ, Who intervenes between Lucifer and Ahriman.
Now we come back to the question, who are the Gog and Magog?
The earth and water elementals, under the direction of Ahriman, have been attempting to intrude into man’s domain for thousands of years.
Today, the clairvoyant would indeed perceive that the subterranean realm is populated by beings who trick and deceive humanity through modern innovations.
They have the goal of misguiding humans to a lower form of existence, wherein they forsake their evolutionary goals and descend with the corpse of the Earth, the eighth sphere.
Ahrimanic beings struggle to harden man; they want to make him like themselves. Were they to be successful, man would become extremely clever in the material realm—incredibly clever and intelligent.They cannot achieve their end directly, but they aim at doing so indirectly. And their efforts, which have actually been going on for thousands of years, have in fact succeeded in producing a whole race of sub-human beings. Their method is as follows.Suppose a man has strong and rude instincts. These beings will clutch at his instinctive nature and seize hold of it. The man then falls victim to the Ahrimanic powers. He is completely given up to his passions and leads a wild and dissolute life.
When a man has in this way become a prey, during his earthly life, to the Ahrimanic powers, then these powers will be able to hold on to his instinctive nature and tear it out of him after death.There exists already on the Earth a whole population of beings who have arisen in this way. They are there, in the elements of earth and water, a sub-human race. And then what is it the Ahrimanic powers intend with this sub-human race? As we have seen, they draw out of a human being his instinctive nature and make of it an earth-and-water being.These earth-water beings inhabit the strata immediately below the surface of the Earth; and those who go down into mines, if they are able to look with spiritual vision, are quite familiar with them. They are beings that have been snatched out of man in the moment of death. [4]
When the human becomes animal
When one understands that the human soul is enclosed by two parts of the etheric body, the method in which humanity furnishes the sub-human population becomes apparent.
The higher part of the etheric body is formed in heaven, the mental plane of theosophy. Conversely, the lower part of the etheric body, known as the double, is formed on earth.
Whoever comes under the control of their double, at a time when humanity is on the ascending curve of evolution, will become an inhabitant of the eighth sphere.
The one is the pole of animality, the other the pole of the spiritual. Between them is the astral body and this too has arisen out of the union of a duality.Fundamentally it is also a two-fold formation. We have to differentiate in it a lower and a higher nature. The higher nature was originally connected with the mental body. [5]
The astral nature of the eighth sphere can be understood in light of the fact that it was formed from the residue of the Old Moon, at the time of the Luciferic rebellion. The Old Moon was the previous embodiment of the Earth as an astral globe.
The astral body is inherited through the passage through the animal kingdom, therefore it is selfish in nature because it is accustomed to competition for survival — most of our humanity having passed through the animal kingdom on Old Moon.
The Eighth Sphere has something to do with the residue left from the Old Moon and its evolution…on the Old Moon, man's natural mode of perception was visionary and imaginative in character, so that any substantiality to be discerned in the Eighth Sphere must be found with this kind of vision. That is to say: it must be presumed at the outset that the Eighth Sphere is found by way of visionary Imaginations. [6]
Only through the ennobling influence of the higher mind, is the astral body purified and put into rapport with the higher etheric body.
Whereas man's selfishness, his lower animal nature, puts him under the control of sub-natural realm via the double’s connection to the eighth sphere. The separative mind also eventually descends to the level of the animal nature. Man thus becomes, half-man, half-beast.
Therefore, when man continues to act selfishly or cruelly — which is often the result of failing to raise himself out of ignorance — then he eventually forfeits his human form.
Through the course of many incarnations, one is confronted between death and rebirth of an animal image of himself that he had back on Old Moon, which is only ameliorated by a meeting with the Christ.
It is only when the pupil looks back at what he himself has become through the influence of Lucifer, only when he beholds the frightful animal-like picture of what man has become in the course of his incarnations through the enticements and temptations of Lucifer, that he is as it were healed a little from the seductive power of the figure before him.I then told you of the help that can come to the pupil of the present day from Christ. Christ brings a kind of deep consolation and hope, to counteract the terrible impression made upon the pupil by the meeting with death and Lucifer, and moreover the meeting with the picture of himself,—which is in a certain sense the Guardian of the Threshold. It is only after what has been described as “the end-times”, that this condition of the etheric body starts to become permanent.
These times appear to be approaching soon; on that, please see my last post, Lord Maitreya, Ahriman, and the eschatology of the Iran war.
From the Old Moon, one’s soul is directed to the eighth sphere, instead of making a continuous evolution to the next embodiment of Earth, New Jupiter — which would be a complete miscarriage of spiritual evolution.
The Ahrimanic powers are waiting for the time when men will descend to incarnation and, on account of a karma that their instincts and passions have prepared for them, feel particularly drawn to certain of these beings and say to themselves: “I will not go back to the spiritual world; when I have left my physical body...I shall not die any more, but be permanently united with the Earth. Yes, I will choose to be a subsensible being.” [4]
Technocracy beyond the veil
The state of the world today is concerning for many, particularly the encroach of technologies such as AI into our daily lives.
Beyond the negative effect technology has on cognition which is already known, what is really indicated by AI is that all thinking will be assigned to technological forces, and will deteriorate as a result. These forces are simply those that are engineered from earth’s sub-natural world.
In my post, the truth about technocracy, I have described the threat as not purely being one of overt control, but of soft control such as algorithms, which rely on the surrender of one’s willpower.
They teach a mere physical science and shape social economic life in such that initiative of the will weakens and individuality dies. And over this a network of power is organized. Where does this lead? It leads to the fact that after the spirit and soul have been killed, mere bodily automatons remain, without judgment, without their own will, subordinated to higher ones, whom they obey.A subhuman race, directed and led by one or more directing group souls. They want to encircle the Earth, the Earth that will one day disintegrate into dust, and eternalize it and populate it with those subhuman beings. That is a terrible cosmic goal. They are all working towards it, consciously or unconsciously. Then the Earth's goal will be gone. Then no Jupiter development will be possible. [8]

The only recourse will be an education into spiritual science that leads to the proper evolutionary course of mankind, materialistic science having long departed from natural philosophy and only serving the interests of the sub-natural world.
I have connected the task of imparting to humanity spiritual science with the appearance of the World Teacher, Maitreya, which I will write about in an upcoming post.
As has been stated at the beginning of this post, what can be observed in the physical world is one thing, but to clairvoyant observation it appears as another thing.
When Rudolf Steiner prophesied the future in the early 20th century, which is now our present, it appears that he was seeing the activity of the elemental world.
From the earth, there will spring forth a horrible brood of beings. In character they will be in between the mineral and plant kingdoms. They will be beings resembling automatons, with an over-abundant intellect of great intensity.
Along with this development, which will spread over the earth, the latter will be covered as if by a network or web of ghastly spiders possessing tremendous wisdom. Yet their organization will not even reach up to the level of the plants.
They will be horrible spiders who will be entangled with one another. In their outward movements they will imitate everything human beings have thought up with their shadowy intellect, which did not allow itself to be stimulated by what is to come through new Imagination and through spiritual science in general. The internet was then later invented in the 1960’s, and from then on an increasing digitization of life, which the description of spider webs seems to be synonymous with. Now with the rise of AI, the most advanced of these elemental beings are likely active.
Interestingly, there may be a connection with this subterranean world referred to by Steiner, and one that has been known under another name — Agartha.
In one lecture, the number of the subhuman produced from mechanistic culture was given — 800,000,000 beings.
We must proceed from the same soul and spiritual powers that live in our mechanistic culture, which has produced seven to eight hundred million specimens of the subhuman. [10]
I encountered this number again in a post on reddit, 2029, is this the year the hidden realm of Agarttha will reveal themselves again? A book from 1922 claims they will by user mattperkins86.
We may appear to have wandered far from the “Great Agartthian School: of Hardjji Scharipf. After the trauma of the First World War, the very name of Agarttha might have been forgotten, and Saint-Yves’ book might have sunk out of sight like many an occultist’s fantasy. But in 1922, a Polish self-styled scientist named Ferdinand Ossendowski published a sensational travel and adventure book.38 It told of his flight through central Asia in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution.While in Mongolia, he heard tell of a subterranean realm of 800,000,000 inhabitants called “Agharti”; of its triple spiritual authority “Brahytma, the King of the World,” “Mahytma,” and “Mahynga”; of its sacred language, “Vattanan”; and many other things that corroborate Saint-Yves. The book ended on a dramatic note of prophesy from one of Ossendowski’s informants: that in the year 2029, the people of “Aghardi” will issue forth from their caverns and appear on the surface of the earth. The prophesy was attributed to the King of the World then he appeared before the lamas in 1890. The King had then predicted that there would be fifty years of strife and misery, seventy-one years of happiness under three great kingdoms, then an eighteen-year war, before the appearance of the Agartthians.

One is left to wonder, have all the materialistic innovations of the past few centuries been arranged to this end? And will everything come to the fore in 2029?
